Simon has been fishing the oceans around australia since he was 10 years old and has been surfing for 25 years so when it comes to fishing in the ocean you know you are in safe hands as Simon has a very good knowledge of the ever changing ocean and its weather.
Simon has spent many hours chasing marlin on Australias east coast in his trailer boat "red hot" by himself tagging/releasing marlin single handed and knows what it takes to find the fish of your dreams as he has done on many occasions with large line burning blue marlin ,huge southen blue fin tuna and massive mako sharks.
Simon also put his clients onto the winning southen bluefin tuna in the 2010 portland game fishing competition with a 100.3 kg southen blue fin tuna, it is with out any doubt Captain Simon Rinaldi is one of the finest charter boat operaters going around.
Simon Rinaldi also put his good diving mates onto the tuna and Rob Torelli claimed a world record southen blue fin tuna aboard ''RED HOT'' in 2009 out on the portland tuna grounds and in 2011 backed this up by again teaming up with Rob and targeting the world record albacore tuna another world record was claimed as Rob landed another world record aboard ''RED HOT'' late in 2011 Simon was chosen again by Rob Torelli and Murrey Peterson as there skipper of choice but this time the location was one of Simon's old stomping grounds Bermagui in NSW and the target was to claim another world record for southen blue fin tuna this time it was murrey's shot at a record and true to his name ''RED HOT'' simon again put the boys onto the tuna and another world record was landed aboard ''RED HOT'' by Murry.
